Preparing for a video consultation
A short checklist so your online GP appointment runs smoothly and privately.
Video consultancy can be convenient when a remote review is clinically appropriate. A little preparation helps.
Before you join
- Choose a quiet, private room with decent lighting.
- Charge your device and test camera and microphone.
- Have photo ID and a list of current medications nearby.
- Note your main concerns in a few bullet points.
During the call
Treat the session like an in-person visit. Share accurate information, ask clarifying questions, and confirm next steps before you hang up.
Booking
Appointments are arranged by calling or emailing the practice — we do not use web booking forms on this site.
